Nominations Got A Little Sweeter!

So the deal for nominating someone just got a little sweeter! If you nominate a friend, team mate, or yourself, you will be entered into a draw to win a pair of roller skate earrings! (For yourself!) Check these out! There will be one pair given away every other week until January 1st, when we get to show off the first Derby Girl of The Day,  with the winner being randomly selected from all the submissions received during the previous two weeks. The first draw will take place on November 14th.

Want to nominate someone to be derby girl of the day? Want to nominate yourself?
We are looking for women who meet any (or all!) of the following criteria:

• Are amazing roller derby players
• Have done great things off the track (derby related or not!)
• New players who just had their break-through moment
• Have made a significant contribution to their team or the sport & community of roller derby

Send an email to derbygirloftheday [at] gmail [dot] com and tell us about yourself or the person you are nominating.  Then on January 1, 2012 come back to see who the first feature is.
